City and Road Infrastructure Specialist

Main duties and functions:
Collection and analysis of economic and environmental studies, census data and research on city and road infrastructure;
Development of strategies, concepts, programs and plans for the development of transport infrastructure;
Recommending changes to processes or procedures to improve efficiency or reduce costs in future projects;
Conducting public outreach campaigns to educate citizens about infrastructure projects or to solicit feedback on proposed plans;
Provide technical and strategic assistance to implementation including reviewing and producing analytical documents, conducting sector and project-related desk review, providing technical advice in terms of implementation support.
Key skills required:
Advanced knowledge of mobility strategy with international work experience;
Strong understanding of mobility related trends and their implications;
Knowledge of traffic modeling;
Knowledge of geographic information systems;
Understanding of the processes of planning and operating urban public transport;
Understanding of the principles of road safety.
