City and Road Infrastructure Specialist

Main duties and functions:

• Collection and analysis of economic and environmental studies, census data and research on city and road infrastructure;

• Development of strategies, concepts, programs and plans for the development of transport infrastructure;

• Recommending changes to processes or procedures to improve efficiency or reduce costs in future projects;

• Conducting public outreach campaigns to educate citizens about infrastructure projects or to solicit feedback on proposed plans;

• Provide technical and strategic assistance to implementation including reviewing and producing analytical documents, conducting sector and project-related desk review, providing technical advice in terms of implementation support.

Key skills required:

• Advanced knowledge of mobility strategy with international work experience;

• Strong understanding of mobility related trends and their implications;

• Knowledge of traffic modeling;

• Knowledge of geographic information systems;

• Understanding of the processes of planning and operating urban public transport;

• Understanding of the principles of road safety.
