Cybersecurity Engineer

Main duties and functions:

• Develop a deep understanding of the B&B Security Alliance offering from a security and engineering point of view, to design with customers the best possible solution to their needs;

• Work with customers to facilitate the implementation and integration of our solutions according to their requirements;

• Act as technical expert and serve as a knowledgeable resource to internal and external partners;

• Hands-on experience with implementing, managing and maintaining different security solutions from the B&B Security Alliance solution portfolio;

• Providing information technology and information security industry best practices on managed security solutions;

• Understanding of common security tools, network, operating systems and databases;

• Support for problem solving in case of any of system and solutions errors, etc.

Key skills required:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Sciences or a related technical field;

• At least 2 years of experience on related areas;

• Experience with systems installation, configuration and administration of routers/switches, UNIX/Linux, and Windows-based systems;

• Experience in one or few of security technologies such as NGFW, WAF, PAM, DLP, Endpoint Security etc. is a plus;

• Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment;

• Knowledges of Network (L2 switching architectures including Spanning Tree, IP routing that includes OSPF and BGP, and L4 Load balancing);

• Experience and knowledge of modern threats and malware, network forensics, automation tools and technologies, and endpoint security technologies;

• Security vendors and industry-adopted security certification is a plus;

• Languages: Azerbaijani, English, Russian is a plus.
