DevOps Engineer

Main duties and functions:

• Build, test and maintain the DevOps infrastructure and tools to allow for the speedy software development and ensure Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD);

• Build and maintain development and production environment;

• Build and maintain microservices;

• Administrate and manage cloud services;

• Administrate and manage data + applications access and security;

• Containerize and deploy applications;

• Build replication logic for system behavior analysis and debug.

Key skills required:

• Degree in computer science or IT Engineering;

• 3+ years of experience on similar positions;

• Good knowledge of cloud platforms and related technologies (incl. private/ hybrid), Docker and Kubernetes;

• Deep knowledge of streaming protocols and Kafka-based cloud services, SQL/ non-SQL databases, and Spark;

• Knowledge of CI/CD services/ platforms and defects management methodologies;

• Experience in bash scripting, authentication protocols and security services;

• Familiarity with data science tools and concepts, geospatial data and GIS software (PTV, Aimsun);

• Hands-on expertise in software engineering and architecture design.
