Head of Tariffs and Subsidies

Main duties and functions:

• Develop suggestion to all transport tariff policies and subsidization approach;

• Drives the process of formulating and approving new tariffs for all transport modes;

• Drives the process of development and approving subsidization approach for all transport modes;

• Ensures the optimal allocation of approved subsidies, etc.

Key skills required:

• Knowledge of computer modeling software;

• Knowledge of transport economics models/software;

• Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance;

• Knowledge of principles and methods for moving people or goods by air, rail, sea, or road, including the relative costs and benefits;

• Understanding of the National, Regional and International contexts of transport development and economics;

• Knowledge in urban planning;

• Quality control analysis skills;

• Complex problem solving skills;

• Judgment and decision making skills.
