Transport Strategy Specialist

Main duties and functions:
Collection and analysis of economic and environmental studies, census data and research public transport;
Ensures creation of transport strategies based on the relevant data analysis of transport and passenger flows to meet the sector challenges;
Planning the development of the transport infrastructure of cities, agglomerations, intercity communications, for public transport;
Projects future demand for public transport;
Designs journeys that fulfill passenger needs and address their pain points;
Develops and prioritizes portfolio of initiatives for modelling using Digital Twin;
High-level estimation of economic efficiency of transport projects;
Assessment of the impact of public transport on the environment;
Support the preparation and implementation of new or current projects that is relevant with the Master Plan.
Key skills required:
Knowledge of mobility strategy with international work experience;
Strong understanding of mobility related trends and their implications;
Knowledge of traffic modeling;
Knowledge of geographic information systems;
Understanding the processes of planning and operating urban public transport;
Understanding the principles of organization and road safety;
Knowledge of the economics of urban transport, skills in the economic evaluation of a transport project.
