Transport Strategy Specialist

Main duties and functions:

• Collection and analysis of economic and environmental studies, census data and research public transport;

• Ensures creation of transport strategies based on the relevant data analysis of transport and passenger flows to meet the sector challenges;

• Planning the development of the transport infrastructure of cities, agglomerations, intercity communications, for public transport;

• Projects future demand for public transport;

• Designs journeys that fulfill passenger needs and address their pain points;

• Develops and prioritizes portfolio of initiatives for modelling using Digital Twin;

• High-level estimation of economic efficiency of transport projects;

• Assessment of the impact of public transport on the environment;

• Support the preparation and implementation of new or current projects that is relevant with the Master Plan.

Key skills required:

• Knowledge of mobility strategy with international work experience;

• Strong understanding of mobility related trends and their implications;

• Knowledge of traffic modeling;

• Knowledge of geographic information systems;

• Understanding the processes of planning and operating urban public transport;

• Understanding the principles of organization and road safety;

• Knowledge of the economics of urban transport, skills in the economic evaluation of a transport project.
